Based on mundane astrological theory, transits and progressions from natal charts should be able to predict events such as earthquakes. Here I’ve analysed the positions of planets against sidereal and tropical reference points to identify points of interest that are associated with significant New Zealand earthquakes.
While the underlying mechanism of these planetary bodies being associated with earthquakes is unknown from an astrological basis, I can make a prediction of confidence regarding 2 upcoming earthquake events in New Zealand on the following dates:
Dates of high-risk of devastating earthquakes:
- 19th of August, 2025
- 5th of Novemeber, 2028
While these dates peak in intensity based on the Moon’s aspects, a month should be allowed either way due to the slow movement of Saturn and Jupiter forming aspects associated with New Zealand earthquakes.
